John Mendelsohn, M.D., President, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center (Thursday, February 26th 2009)
The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center has ranked as the nation’s top cancer hospital for five of the past eight years, and attracts patients from around the world. Dr. John Mendelsohn has served as its head for thirteen years, overseeing treatment, research, fundraising and growth. Mendelsohn’s career includes cutting-edge research and key positions at many of the nation’s top cancer centers. Now he’s turning that expertise into an effort to shape national policy on cancer prevention, cancer treatment and general health care reform.
