The decor is still low-key with a black pressed-tin ceiling and rustic stucco walls decorated with colorful photos. An enormous house salad dressed with an understated garlicky vinaigrette kept us happy until the arrival of entreés. Our friends loved their pizza with anchovies, cheese, and Canadian bacon, and the vegetable lasagne, gooey with red sauce and cheese, was a real treat. We pounced on retro cappuccino ice cream pie for dessert. (9/12)
