As befits a bistro, we regularly encounter old friends at this congenial spot. The menu ranges from burgers to lamb to seafood, of which we enthusiastically recommend the pan-seared scallops served on a bed of creamy mashed potatoes with a champagne-bacon sauce. Proprietors Barbara Canales and Doug Allison, adding hours to their busy day jobs of lawyering, are ever-present. (9/13)
