Thank goodness nothing has changed but the name (formerly Houston’s). The tree-shaded patio is still lovely and the food reliably good. We rarely order a French dip, but we have high praise for the one here, with its toasted house-made bun, tall stack of prime rib roast beef, and coffee cup of jus for dipping; a small side of horseradish really pepped up the sandwich as well as the side of simple coleslaw with cabbage, green onions, and mayo. We finished up with a warm five-nut brownie à la mode with a drizzle of champagne custard. Bar.
