The high energy of Washington Ave carries into this airy, handsome space, where the rock-solid Italian menu of pizzas, pasta, and seafood inspires a convivial spirit of sharing. Crispy four-cheese bianca pizza was piping hot, nicely blistered, and happily consumed en masse, as were two generous links of house-made spicy fennel sausage atop creamy Parmesan polenta. A special of pan-seared red snapper tasted fresh, but its swath of citrus aioli was overwhelming. A couple of concerns for some may be the din and the dim—it’s a bit loud, and the lighting is so low we couldn’t fully appreciate our food. (6/13)
