Returning to Francesco and Susan Inguaggiato’s neighborhood restaurant, we were pleased to find that the service glitches we experienced the first time around had been addressed, allowing us to relax and enjoy the warm hospitality and excellent food. Bypassing menu standards, we went for a seafood special of penne in a Gorgonzola mushroom sauce topped with a handful of large, fresh shrimp. Also notable was the cacciucco, a steaming bowl of mussels and clams, shrimp, fish, and crushed tomatoes in a thin, lightly spiced broth. The house-made tiramisu—real ladyfingers buried in a thick sweet cream—was superfluous after such a feast, but we devoured it nonetheless. Beer & wine.
