Though we consider Chez Bazan our go-to bakery for special-occasion pastries, we were surprisingly disappointed with the lunchtime Jamaican Chicken sandwich, finding the chicken dry and bland and the sourdough bread thick and doughy. But we were deliriously happy with Bryan’s Salad, a sort of Cobb-Asian mix with mandarin oranges, avocado, almonds, and grilled chicken. We always enjoy the French cafe atmosphere, with a cheerful if somewhat inattentive staff. We could not resist stopping back by
