If you’re not familiar with kimchi, a Korean condiment of spicy fermented cabbage that is alleged to be a very healthy food, or bulgogi, translated as “fire beef” (although it has a rather sweet taste), you will be after a few meals here. From a menu that marries Korean, Mexican, and American come the likes of Holy Smokes, a bacon cheeseburger topped with onion rings and slathered with barbecue sauce, and Asian Tacos, corn tortillas stuffed with bulgogi,
onions, and cilantro. Be forewarned that an order of K-Fries is a meal in itself: shoestring potatoes smothered with cheese, kimchi, and bulgogi. Fusion isn’t just for expense accounts anymore. (7/12)
