Look in the dictionary under “Clean, well-lighted place” and you’ll probably find this spot. Wrapped on two sides by large windows (okay, the view is of the parking lot and the street, but still), Eric’s serves salads, sandwiches, and soups. And apparently this newish place has filled a need, because a good crowd shows up for lunch every day. We particularly liked the tuna on sourdough and the black bean soup, topped with red onion and cilantro. Nestled in the back, next to the self-serve drink machine, is an ice cream bar. Cool. (9/12)
