You’ll know right away that this is someplace special, what with the tall black ceilings, interesting light fixtures, and plush taupe and gray seating. Equally luxe are the Ligurian Caesar, with a terrific burst of flavor from mint pesto, and a smashing creamy green apple and Vidalia soup. Alas, orrechiette carbonara flecked with fresh peas, serrano ham, and shaves of Parmesan, with a jewel-like poached quail egg nestled in the center, was not as stellar as it sounds; the pasta was a little too al dente and the whole thing needed salt. On the mark, though, was a polenta financier with blueberry compote and roasted corn ice cream. There are two lovely patios for pleasant fall weather. Bar.
