This “Stateside Bistro” on the west side does a good job of serving a multitude of hungry folks a wide variety of dishes that include steaks, burgers, pizzas, pasta, and seafood. We were delighted with the crab cakes, both on their own, with a fresh tomato-basil sauce, and burger-style, with lettuce and tomato and a side of sweet potato fries. Decades ago this space was a neighborhood cafeteria legendary for its desserts; indulging in some pie and cobbler, we did our part to keep those memories alive. (11/12)
