Didi’s may be off the beaten path, but it’s worth it. Try a combo plate: two tamales, rice, beans, tortillas, and a choice of sauces (red and green salsas, crema, queso). We loved the terrific smoked-brisket tamal; even better was the four-cheese and poblano, of which we could have eaten a dozen. Just the right touch for dessert was a house-made paleta of puréed mango dotted with blueberries.
