The venue is the boiler room of the old Pearl Brewery, repurposed with dark woods and a bit of rustic warmth. So too the food. Choose from fish, steaks, and made-on-premises charcuterie, and take note of the local references: chile-lime kettle corn, a bison burger, spicy short ribs braised in vanilla and cumin. You can even make a donation to the San Antonio River Foundation by ordering the smoked ruby trout. Attentive service rounds out the experience. (7/13)
