A blustery day is just right for the split pea soup; it’s packed with ham and potatoes and will stick to your ribs till dinner. Our eyes being bigger than our stomach, we also ordered pork schnitzel, which was set before us on a platter along with a bowl of warm red cabbage and crispy potato cakes. The decor is pure German, with wooden beams, beer tankards, and the obligatory cuckoo clock. (2/13)
