Had we known that a gargantuan bowl of roasted duck noodle soup was going to be so labor intensive, we might have made a different choice. Then again, that savory blend of meat, vermicelli, and green onions certainly made up for the work involved. After that we made our way through another hefty dish: fluffy rice (we only wish our rice would turn out this way) with chunks of chicken, black mushrooms, and snow peas.
