Midland’s newest burger joint celebrates West Texas, with old-timey pictures and murals chronicling the awl bidness. It’s usually packed, but you may find a seat near the dimly lit bar and big-screen TVs. Fried green tomatoes came nicely presented but with more breading than tomato, unfortunately. The burgers, though, were definitely worth the wait, the Basin Classic boasting a thick patty and cheddar cheese and the Black & Blue featuring Gorgonzola, caramelized onions, and house mustard. Both came with crispy feta-sprinkled sweet potato fries.
