This family-owned tearoom is the kind of place where you’re likely to spot plenty of customers at their regular tables, enjoying the daily fare. While the menu features the standard assortment of soups, salads, and sandwiches, we’re partial to the petite crab cakes (served with baby greens in a light, citrusy dressing) and the homemade chicken enchiladas. Fridays are all about the seafood gumbo and fried catfish—worth it just for the side of spicy, jalapeño-spiked hush puppies. (6/13)
