Bryan–College Station has its fair share of mediocre Asian restaurants. So when we started to hear buzz about a Chinese/Thai spot in a strip center, we had to give it a try. Dragon One did not disappoint. Its lengthy menu will look familiar, but the quality of the food (and the service) is decidedly a step above. Thai yellow curry with chicken was a mouthwatering combination of basil, potatoes, and peppers, the sweetness of the curry balanced by just the right amount of kick, while the Mongolian beef was surprisingly tender in a bold, but not overpowering, sauce.
