The dinner menu includes 20 seafood dishes (and a dozen or so beef and veal ones), but even the abbreviated lunch menu is distinguished enough to have made Piccolo’s the de facto corporate dining room for many businesses on the northwest side of town. Orange roughy livornese, for example, is a sleek slab of moist whitefish covered by a tomato sauce with just enough peppery zing. Shrimp raffaello, for those who do not mind lots of butter and cream in their lemon sauces, perhaps represents the menu’s high point, while the delicate manicotti takes care of lighter appetites. Informal, with just enough Italian decor to be convincing, Piccolo’s is a treasure. (6/13)
