There’s no escaping the dated eighties vibe, but happily the standards here aren’t showing their age. The menu is daunting in its diversity; make enough return visits and you’ll sample almost every known Asian staple. We still stick with time-honored dishes like verdant broccoli spears with beef, braised in ginger and garlic and dotted with crisp carrots and snow peas. The sublime garlic-frittered chicken may furrow our cardiologist’s brow, but guilty pleasures are sweetest. The sushi bar shuns cream cheese, and for that we are eternally grateful. (7/13)
