Nick’s looks like a Wales farmhouse dropped into the middle of West Texas, but inside it’s a traditional (but smoke-free) sports bar, with no fewer than 24 HDTVs hanging from the industrial ceiling. The Pre-Game Warm-Ups (otherwise known as appetizers) include some surprising options: we couldn’t resist the steak tips (sliced sirloin piled high on flatbread chips, with a mustard dipping sauce) and the crispy fried pickles. Next, we stuffed ourselves with the Mexican Burger, because who wants lettuce and tomatoes when you can get queso, guacamole, and jalapeños. (7/13)
