Just when you thought Rainey Street couldn’t get any more hip, along comes a beer garden/sausage house to up the ante with outdoor music, 100-plus brews on tap, and more than 30 handmade sausages. From the list of composed dishes, Greek-style kofta served with hummus, tabbouleh, and tzatziki is spot on in spice and flavor, though we did wish for a slice of pita. Or you can build your own “hot dog” from a selection of sausages that range from classic (spicy Cajun andouille) to adventurous (venison merguez). Sides include caramelized onions, sauerkraut, and sweet peppers. The gooey Snickers-style ice cream sundae is over the top. (11/12)
