Charming painted furniture and colorful walls and pottery give Cha-Cha’s a fiesta feel year-round. This location (one of three) completely transformed a onetime barbecue joint into a south-of-the-border destination. The Maya plate hit the spot: fresh green lettuce garnished the crisp pork chalupa and green enchilada (there are ten varieties, including enfrijoladas and entomatadas), the guacamole was vibrant, and the chips were fresh fried. What more could a diner desire? Well, servers could pay attention; we entered an almost empty restaurant and waited ten minutes for a table. (8/13)
