The downstairs sibling of dignified Silo offers a completely different experience. The chef, Luca Della Casa (formerly of Le Rêve and Il Sogno), turns out an oft-changing assortment of small plates and fun-to-share nibbles—things like steak tartare, richly flavored wild boar pizza, and a lovely burrata plate, its creamy cheese balanced with grilled zucchini and lemony-bitter arugula. The sleek, pocket-size dining room is nestled against one of the best tree-shaded patios in this not-so-well-traveled edge of Terrell Hills/Alamo Heights. Nosh deftly manages both kid-friendly early suppers and late-night, well, noshing. (8/13)
