We’re loath to call an eatery “unpretentious,” lest you think that’s our euphemism for “dive.” But this place is unassuming and serves up good, fresh food. Having eaten our way through the menu—calamari, shrimp salad, cabbage soup, schnitzel, CFS, grilled ribeye, fajitas, gorditas—we’ve found every dish to be tasty, well-cooked, and nicely presented. The service is pleasing, and, snobs that we are, we love the cloth napkins. For you beer hounds, there are forty global brews on tap. (9/13)
