What do u do with canned tamales? Here's what I do. Quick n easy.

Canned Hormel Tamales Side Dish or Dip
Great way to use Easy n Tasty Hj

1 lb.ground beef-turkey or chicken browned -in large skillet
breaking up meat
2) 15 oz. cans Hormel Tamales Mild or Hot (used Mild

Use pan or large skillet n pour all contents into. Un-wrap the tamales
getting all sauce from papers-by pulling down with fingers on the paper.
Mash up the tamales with a fork

Add 1onion diced fine (or add on top AFTER all heated through
1 to 2 T. cumin powder
1/2 to 1 tsp. Mexican Oregano powder
11/2 tsp.garlic granular or (ur taste
little more chili powder (optional

1/2 c. Mexican Blend shredded cheese (more if desired

Notes~either mash tamales completely for using as a dip with Tostitos or
even use for toppings with hot dogs or hamburgers or cut with
fork into bite size pieces for side dish.

Casserole - side-or part of main meal

1 lb.ground beef-turkey or chicken browned -in large skillet

Add
2 cans Hormel Mild Tamales
Unwrap papers pour juice from can into meat-getting-excess
juice from papers-cut tamales into bite size pieces

Add
1) 15 oz. can Macayo or Rosita or Las Palmas Red Chile Sauce
adding~to skillet
Add~
1/2 to 1 tsp.Mexican oregano powder
1 to 11/2 tsp. garlic granular
2 -3 T. onion grated or 1T. onion flakes
1 to 2 T. cumin powder
2 T. Chicken Gravy Powder Mix (McCormick
salt pepper to taste

Heat to boil-turn down to simmer-desired thickeness
Taste-add-Pour into bowl-add Mexican Blend grated cheese
Garnish with fresh chives

Notes~
Add`~black olives sliced (1 can drained
Can mash tameles well making like casserole right-in casserole
dish (NOT using red chili sauce (just seasonings with little water
n add chile powder-to suggested seasonings above.
Can add cheese- crushed Tostitdo's on top. Bake-350 F. 20minutes
or Microwave-(covered-about 9 ninutes or becomes melted cheese n bubbly

Oh sometimes I add tomatoes diced to the above also.
