Hj's Beef -Buffalo-Venision- Elk- Pork-Lamb Stewing Meat Delicious n Easy
Using 6-to 8 quart pot.
Add
1-2 lbs. meat cubed
4 to 5 tomillio's-husked-cubed large
2 bay leaves large-remove latter
1 tsp. garlic grandular or more
1-2 T. cumin powder
1 heaping soupspoon Knor's-Caldo con sabor de Pollo powder
3/4 to 1 tsp. Mexican oregano powder (ur taste
handful cilantro leaves fresh chopped
1 to 2 serrano peppers large seeded diced fine
Water to almost top of pot
Kosher salt little to ur taste (add at very end
Bring to boil simmer till very tender -several hours add more
water if needed-cook down this time to just cover-meat or little more broth.
Turn off heat remove bay leaves.
Either-make thick by adding flour- Wonda or Mesa Herra -cooking till thick n boiling about 5 minutes**(can add thickening agents earlier if u know u want it thick or let this a brothy type verison.
*Add cream with the thickening agents if u so desire..YUM
Serve creamed thick stew meat sauce over cooked rice or add cooked rice with just plain broth
You can add some diced tomatoes if want a different taste once in a while.
