A week after handing Mitt Romney the GOP nomination, Texans are opening their hearts and wallets to him.

Even though Texas donors have already been very generous this election cycle, the Romney campaign expects to raise a cool $15 million on a swing through Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Houston this Tuesday and Wednesday, CNN reported Wednesday. (Austin, a spot of blue in a sea of red, was the only major Texas city left out of this trip.) Prior to this, Romney had raised $5.9 million in Texas.

Despite this generosity, so far, no AP photos have surfaced of Romney wearing a cowboy hat on his Texas trip (Remember this gem of a photo of Rick Santorum?)
