Texas Book Festival Authors' Party

Texas Monthly, in partnership with the Texas Book Festival, celebrated this year’s annual festival by hosting the Author’s Cocktail Reception at its new offices overlooking the Capitol grounds in downtown Austin. More than 300 guests including moderators, board members, supporters of the literary community as well as nationally celebrated authors mixed and mingled while enjoying hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, and live music. Notable guests included Kinky Friedman, Robert Caro, Jeffrey Toobin, Elizabeth Crook, and Sarah Bird.
