An Evening with H.W. Brands

Texas Monthly and The Texas Book Festival treated guests to an evening with author H.W. Brands. Attendees gathered at Lamberts Downtown Barbecue for a lively discussion with Brands and Texas Book Festival literary director Clay Smith to celebrate the recent release of his book, The Murder of Jim Fisk for the Love of Josie Mansfield: A Tragedy of the Gilded Age. Following the discussion, guests were able to mix and mingle with Brands, and purchase signed copies of his new book.
