An Evening with Douglas Brinkley

Texas Monthly and The Texas Book Festival treated guests to an evening with author Douglas Brinkley. Attendees gathered at Lamberts Downtown Barbecue for a lively discussion with Brinkley and Texas Monthly editor Jake Silverstein to celebrate the recent release of his book, The Quiet World: Saving Alaska's Wilderness Kingdom, 1879-1960. Following the discussion, guests were able to mix and mingle with Brinkley, and purchase signed copies of his new book.
