Costa Fly Fishing Weekend

Texas Monthly partnered with Costa Sunglasses to co-host a client appreciation trip for an exclusive group of Costa’s optical retailers and their guests. Guests were treated to a fly fishing excursion weekend getaway including hotel accommodations at the Gruene Apple Inn, dinner at the Gristmill, and live music at the famous Gruene Hall. Bright and early on Saturday morning, guests were outfitted in Costa gear and shuttled to fishing spots along the Guadalupe River for a fly fishing clinic where guides from Gruene Outfitters were on hand to assist with casting instructions, rigging, knot tying, and fly selection. Even though fishing conditions were challenging due to recent rainfall, everyone was in the water and castling like pros at the end of the trip.
