A Dazzling Evening

Texas Monthly, in partnership with Harry Winston, hosted the Texas Women for the Arts at the Harry Winston salon in Highland Park Village, Dallas. Texas Women for the Arts founder Donna Axum Whitworth was honored and presented with the inaugural Champion of the Arts Award and a Harry Winston Marquise cross pendant in recognition of her achievements and for her guidance in implementing funding initiatives to support arts education and the arts in Texas. Moët & Chandon Champagne, Dude, Sweet Chocolate, and The Stoneleigh Hotel provided libations and bites for guests to enjoy during the reception. Beautiful floral arrangements by Avant Garden adorned the boutique while Harry Winston’s finest jewels were on display for all to admire. The evening concluded with a special performance of Bach by Alexandra Switala, a Texas Cultural Trust Young Master.
