Macy’s Come Together Culinary event hosted by Chef Rick Bayless

 

More than 125 culinary enthusiasts came out to feed their passion for gourmet cooking while showing their support for Feeding America and the Houston Food Bank. Macy’s Culinary Council chef Rick Bayless treated guests to a Mexican Fiesta, preparing Grilled Shrimp with Mexican “Chimichurri” and sampled some of his other favorite recipes and enjoyed wine compliments of Sapphire Brands and EOS Winery. Guests received copies of Rick’s new cookbook to be signed, however due to an overwhelming crowd, books went quickly and guests resorted to getting copies of TEXAS MONTHLY signed and buying plates to be autographed.
