Meat and Greet

 

With its selection as serving "The #1 Burger in Texas" in TEXAS MONTHLY's August issue, the Grape Restaurant in Dallas was the setting recently for a lively celebration filled with the restaurant's loyal fans, elected officials, and TEXAS MONTHLY advertisers and subscribers. Executive Editor Patricia Sharpe presented owners Courtney and Brian Luscher with an oversized certificate of acknowledgement and provided a detailed explanation of how the best burgers were selected, the criteria used, and fun stats, including how much weight the 31 "eaters" gained. Mini versions of the #1 burger were enjoyed by all, accompanied by beer and champagne. A great time was had by all.
