TEXAS MONTHLY editor, Jake Silverstein and other staff members welcomed finalists and their guests at a private reception before opening the theater to the film-going public. After the screening, Silverstein announced the winners.

Grand Prize Winner: Ann Huey, Beaumont Stinks
First Runner-Up: Daniel Holoubek, Postcards from Wichita Falls
Second Runner-Up: Brandy Amstel, The Last Frontier
Third Runner-Up: Theresa Coronado, Take Five on the West Side
