A huge frieze of an Indian wedding procession decorates one wall of this rather elegant restaurant. Whole-wheat roti baked in the tandoor oven was a nice accompaniment to our samosa chaat, assorted vegetable turnovers served with pungent green chutney, raita, and tamarind sauces. We followed that with beef shahi korma, the meat in a mildly spicy cream sauce over a bed of saffron-hued basmati. Service is pleasant and helpful, and there’s a small outdoor patio for dining on balmy days. (6/13)
