The Forge is what happens when one sets up jam sessions in the garage, invites close friends, and serves them good food. The garage is, in truth, a turn-of-the-century blacksmith shop, complete with a handcrafted cedar bar, comfy booths, and customers in the form of (among others) affable bearded hippies in cowboy hats. Though the Forge is famous locally for its fabulous pizza (made exclusively with Texas cheeses), we are quite fond of the Anvil, a beef tenderloin sandwich topped with goat cheese and served with homemade chips.
