A favorite on Austin’s east side, this French-style bistro serves up a healthy dose of farm-fresh delights. We started with a bright and refreshing panzanella salad with sweet heirloom tomatoes, crispy cucumber, queso fresco, and plump croutons. We loved the garden-style take on the sizable veggie burger, made from cannellini beans, golden beets, squash, zucchini, pecans, and caramelized onion. Sticking with the white bean theme, the Cajun cassoulet blended a soulful French classic with the kick of Louisiana spice. Fortunately, we saved room for a tender red wine–poached pear, balanced with a dollop of lime cream and ancho-dusted granola.
