It was a dreadful day in Aggieland when the wildly popular Stover Boys shut its doors. But the burger joint has been reincarnated in a most unlikely spot: between the deli and bakery counters of Village Foods grocery store. While the name and atmosphere have changed, Stover Boys fans can still savor the greasy goodness of their favorite multi-napkin burger. Offerings include everything from meat loaf sliders to daily blue-plate specials, but we couldn’t resist a burger, which was as phenomenal as we remembered. The Dr Pepper–glazed ribs had us licking our fingers for every spicy-sweet morsel.
