Nestled among national chains, this tasteful haven is charmingly accessible via a footbridge over a carp-filled moat. We areoften inclined to order nothing but small bites off the Japanese-Chinese menu, so tempting are the choices. Entrée selections are so numerous as to be daunting, but we like the pepper steak, eggplant in garlic sauce, and Peking duck. Alas, we’ve never gotten to dessert. (9/12)
