This white-tablecloth stalwart in the Travis Walk retail center has been a neighborhood favorite of the Park Cities crowd since 2013. It’s a branch of the original New York restaurant, with Dallas owner Stephan Courseau and veteran executive chef Momo Sow both coming from the Manhattan flagship. Light, fresh crab-and-avocado salad with wonton chips and roasted tomato coulis is a guilt-free starter. French staples include roasted chicken, escargot, duck confit à l’orange, country pâté and moules frites. American standbys like Texas ribeye, wagyu short rib, and Cajun chicken are available too. All main plates are served with reliable sides of perfectly sautéed vegetables, traditional thin, crisp frites, and delicate sauces. Don’t pass up dessert; the profiteroles are definitely worth it.
