Not to be outdone by the competition, Red Mountain is staying on top with new menu items, such as a creative torta ahogada of breaded chicken on a bolillo covered in a tomatoey milanesa sauce. New sides include Moroccan couscous spiked with cilantro and mint and a wonderful sautéed spinach with pine nuts and raisins. The menu is as far-reaching as ever, from a frittata made with seasonal vegetables and salty feta to a decadent pulled-duck salad with crispy wontons, cashews, and peanut dressing. (5/13)
