BallHighcheerleaders,Galveston Update College students, and parents with toddlers in tow line up to order at the counter of this perennially popular standby. The reason? No one does fried shrimp or oysters better, whether stuffed in a bun or part of a mixed platter. Our favorite is the shrimp salad, the plump crustaceans tossed in rémoulade and decking a mix of crisp greens, avocado, and hard-boiled egg. Flush with virtue, we then indulge in Key lime pie, delicately chartreuse and admirably tart. (2/13)
