Set on a point of land jutting into Galveston Bay, this cheerfully casual place could be on one of the smaller of the Florida Keys. Diners who come by boat can be served on their own decks, but we prefer a table on the dock or, depending on the weather, inside by a window (and away from the lively bar). A cup of creamy blue crab and corn chowder readied us for the succulent mains, grilled mahimahi topped with avocado and blackened red snapper crowned with deftly grilled jumbo shrimp. A shared slice of blueberry bread pudding doused with bourbon sauce sent us sailing home. (9/13)
