Classic cocktails got us off to a swell start at this high-style spot, followed by complementary flavors and textures in a roasted beet, endive, Stilton, and smoked-almond salad. Bluenose sea bass with green mole and a side of grits with asparagus and mushrooms was tasty but couldn’t match our tried-and-true favorite: coffee-seasoned filet mignon with adobo sauce. The second-floor outdoor deck offers a quintessential Houston vantage point. (2/13)
