Kelly Wilson, most recently executive chef for the Overton, is behind this spot, tucked in the FirstBank Centre. The mod vibe, with melon-colored walls and chairs, made us think we were in downtown Austin (without the hipsters). The Reuben piles up the corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and Thousand Island dressing on marble rye, and even the grilled cheese is dressed up, its usual cheddar blended with Havarti. Don’t overlook the delicate cakes and kolaches in the gleaming bakery cabinet; Wilson has snagged a real pastry chef. (9/12)
