The clink of margs on the rocks, the sizzle of fajita platters, the clatter of heels and boots, laughter, gossip, go-get-’em deals being made. Rosario’s is a rambunctious feast for the ears, as well as the table. We went with a seafood-stuffed chile relleno, which was quite tasty (and rich with what we’d call a cream sauce, not a wine sauce, as the menu said) but missing some of what we consider relleno necessities, like an entirely whole poblano with a bit of batter. However, everything else was fab: fish tacos with cabbage, lusciously fresh ceviche, top-notch enchiladas. Service was a bit harried, but even so we can’t think of a better place to show visitors what San Antonio is all about. (9/13)
