Fargo’s Pit BBQ

With your first Fargo’s pork rib experience, you’ll know at once why the restaurant recently made this magazine’s list of the state’s fifty best barbecue Joints. While the brisket is tender and smoky and the sausage juicy and peppery, it’s the hearty, fall-off-the-bone ribs that will meet the high expectations of the barbecue connoisseur. Fargo’s offers the standard sides and a tasty barbecue sauce, but we found the sauce distracted from the expertly seasoned meat. We balanced out our carnivorous feast with the irresistible sweetness of the restaurant’s must-have peach cobbler. (12/13)
