Tim Love’s Woodshed Smokehouse is smokin’ hot. Four of us fork-fought over a “shared” meal of eight dishes, with none of them disappointing. Prices are reasonable too. Order this to go: Kudos to the bock beer cheese fondue (!)—an elevated queso—served with vegetables and camp bread for dipping; the bulgogi beef tacos, sweet and savory and pepped up by a house kimchi; and the crispy potatoes with hickory-smoked garlic aioli. All traditional ’cue is available too, as well as some that’s not so traditional, like rabbit-rattlesnake sausage. Pro tip: Woodshed sits beside beautiful little Levy Park, so consider a picnic.
